Gather, which began life as Klavx, came out of a need we kept meeting with clients: a proper integration between Lightspeed Retail X and Klaviyo. So we built it, specifically for the Shopify merchants who needed it, and it grew into a business of its own. The difference between Gather and the native options is focus. We are dedicated to the exact problem our clients have, not bolting a generic feature onto the side, because we understand it on the ground.
