A website with a job to do

Make the next step obvious.

Your website should tell a potential customer what you do, where you work, why they should trust you and how to take the next step. We start with that journey, then build the design, content and technical foundations around it.

For a local service business, that might mean clear service pages, useful project examples and an enquiry path that works on a phone. For a retailer, it means organised collections, useful product information and a Shopify store the team can manage. For an accommodation or hospitality business, it means making the offer and booking path easy to understand.

Tim lives and works in Kyneton, with an office behind Oliver Campbell Trading on Piper Street. A former Business Kyneton president, local dad involved in the soccer club, he understands the people and businesses behind the region. Ying leads development from Canada, with clear responsibilities and progress updates across the team.

A few useful answers.

Do you work across the Macedon Ranges?

Yes. Tim is based in Kyneton and we work with businesses across Woodend, Gisborne, Macedon, Romsey, Lancefield and the wider region. Calls and project reviews are arranged around the agreed delivery plan.

What does a local business website cost?

The cost depends on the content, design, integrations and work required. We scope a new build or improvement project before quoting. Snowball is a separate ongoing Shopify service from A$2,200 per month plus GST, with capacity and timing agreed upfront. See current Snowball pricing and scope.

Do I need Shopify for a service business?

Only if selling products or running commerce is part of the job. A service business may need a simpler website with clear services, project examples and an enquiry path. We recommend the platform around the business requirements.

Can you improve the website I already have?

Often, yes. We assess what is working, what is limiting it and what is worth keeping. A rebuild is one option; focused improvements may be the more useful starting point.

Will a new website guarantee more leads?

No. We can improve clarity, search foundations and the customer journey, then measure what happens. Lead quality also depends on demand, competition, your offer and how enquiries are handled.

What does self-healing mean in practice?

It means detecting a problem, assessing the cause, making an authorised fix and checking the result. Automation helps with agreed checks. It does not mean unlimited work, instant repair or changes to payments without approval. Read how living websites work.
